Gabriel Baron is a documentary and narrative filmmaker whose work has won several festival awards. Most recently he has focused on helping non-profits and NGO's create human story films that convey the impact of their mission and work. He has directed and edited short documentaries in Morocco, Germany, Turkey, Cyprus, The Gambia, and Colombia, as well as in the U.S. Partners have included UN Women, UN Peacekeeping, Justice Rapid Response, Physicians for Human Rights, NOREF, and others.
Selected projects have been screened for heads-of-state, contributed to a Webby Award, helped raise millions of dollars for international NGO's, and been published on Yes! Magazine, twice.
His love of physical comedy and puppetry was put to good use when he directed several music videos for
Red Yarn's Backyard, and he continues to seek out collaborations for inspired children's entertainment.
As an editor he works on both documentary and narrative films, and thoroughly enjoys collaborating with creative directors. See some of those projects HERE.
